The humble journey of Shakeel Trading Co WLL (STC) started in Bahrain in the year 1986. The early founding years were testing, but the unyielding resolve in serving our customers helped us emerge successfully. After years of relentless hard work, in the year 2014, we set up a stationery store at Al Wahda, Sharjah UAE. Through this store, we intended to meet both wholesale and retail requirements of the citizens and foreigners residing in the United Arab Emirates. The store, its well-managed sales and logistical capacity of serving customers across UAE, helped us grow into one of the most prominent suppliers not only in the country but around the globe.
Today our products are available in most of the retail outlets, hypermarkets and wholesale trading companies across the world. For this achievement, we owe a lot to our dynamic and well-experienced employees, whose unswerving efforts and cooperation has helped us emerge on a world level.

It was for out of his love of stationery items and others like him that Shakeel Ahmed in the year 1986 founded SAGT WLL. Bahrain. In those times, stationery supplies were minimal and not as readily available as today. Well-established and dedicated suppliers of office and school stationery products were a rare sight. It was thus especially established with an austere objective of making the finest stationery items for schools, colleges, home and office available to the residents of Bahrain.
Over these years, as an outcome of hard work, success and failures-turned-into-success, Shakeel Ahmed General Trading now operates in five Wholesale outlets throughout the Kingdom of Bahrain. It deals with wholesale, retail and distribution activities.
The UAE chapter of Rabia Shakeel General Trading started in 2014 with the opening of our stationery store at Al Wahda Sharjah. In 2015, we expanded into the business hub of Dubai, Al Ras, by setting up a store dedicated exclusively to our export orders. Our export division has actively fostered in creating a niche for ourselves in different parts of the world.
Today, under SAGT, we export, import and distribute a variety of products. Now we deal not only with home and office stationery but also with several household and cleaning products.
